  1. There are two churchyards in the parish. They are in the townland of Carrowmullan. Both are used. The old one is round at one end, and the other is oblong. There is a church in in the new graveyard. It was built in 1820. In the old graveyard are the ruins of an old church which was built in 1607. They left it in 1800. The new graveyard slopes to the west, and the old one slopes slightly to the south-west. There are fir trees in the new graveyard and there are lots of trees in the old one.
