By a legend Fergus Mac Riogh is supposed to have been buried under a headstone in Crislagh Keel. Here Murgen son of Seanchan is supposed to have roused Fergus up out of his grave to give them back the story of the Tain Bo Cualigne which Mealdún took away to Italy. A battle is said to have fought at the foot of the Scalp hill between John Chamberlain an English man and O Dougherty the chieftan of Inishowen in the sixteenth century. O Dougherty was trying
