odd. He gave her this and she took the book and read from it "You have six toes on one foot". He had to take off his boot and show that it was true. My grandfather "Charles ODonnell" saw a band of fairies playing music going into this cave.
The fort is dug up every year and something set in it.
There (is a poet) used to live a poet in his farm and his name was Daniel ODonnell. His grave is still to be seen in the old grave-yard in Straid. On the flag of his grave is Daniel ODonnell Gentleman. His age was 78 years when he died in the 18 century. His wife and his children are in the grave also. It is still in my house. The name of it is "Preaca na Pollan". This poet made this piece of poetry when he was drunk. The people of the house would not let him to the fair of Pollin. They locked him in a room and he made this poem while was sleeping. He is a relation of my fathers.
