The hen also hatches duck eggs. The cow when being tied, is tied by the neck to the manger by a chain made of metal. When the farmer is bringing the cows he makes them go along by shouting "How, how." When he is starting the horse he shouts "Yip on it" and when he is stopping he shouts "Hike hike." Most of the farmers set thirteen eggs for luck. Usually the chickens come out in three weeks' time.
