- Peter Martin of Meenashammer cures strains. He uses lint that grows in the fields. He makes a strong string of lint. This string is put on the strain - tied loosely. When the string wears off the the strain will be gone. If the person cannot go for the cure Peter gives the string to a messenger. James Mc Cafferty of Trusk has this same cure also.
