    flax, and made linen for sale. Pat Fell made hats and baskets for sale. Some others of these 50 houses were:-
    J. Madden, P. McDonagh, Coghlan, Ryan, Goldrie, Cooney, Kelly, Geoghan, Hegarty, Tom Kelly, Pat Kelly, John Kelly, Michael Kelly, James Kelly, Lyons, Daly, Connolly. The rest of these were all small farmers, and lived mostly on their own crops. They ground their own corn with a "Quarns".
