    a lovely grey steed. he harnessed her and did all the Springs work. One morning he took the () animal down to Lough Fower and gave it a drink. The man noticed the water getting scarcer and in case it all would vanish, he pulled the horse away. By that action he broke the spell and the horse plunged into the eater and vanished for ever.
    Had the man not done that the horse would have drunk all the water, and then would be obliged to stay on land.
