- (1) Four cornered fool: The four players take their places in different corners, and the fool is put standing in the middle. Each two take (the) hands, and cross places, and while at this the fool endeavors to get in someones place. If he succeeds, the one who is put out becomes the fool and the game proceeds as before.(2) Rules of contrary. Two people hold a rod by each end, and while it is swung round, the leader says "here we go round the rules of contrary, when i say hold fast, let go, when i say let go, hold fast it usually happens that "When let go"(continues on next page)
