    to the window and looked in. The fellow told her to come in and warm herself, she said she would, but that she was afraid of the three pets. She pulled a rib of hair out of her head and told him to tie the pets. Soft enough of the lad he tied the pets. The witch came in and started fighting with the man. The man started calling to the pets to help him but the animals said "We cant, we are tied, the witch shouted "hair hair" hold tight". At last the witch killed the fellow and turned him into a stone and threw him outside the door.
    The second son now decided to go, and how ever it happened
