    Before Jack came down the chimney he dipped one of the stones in the water. When he was down he pretended to bruise the stone and the water which remained on the stone after dipping it in the saucepan of water appeared on the stone. The giant got a stone and bruised it but it all fell to dust.
    The giant took Jack home with him. When the giant's mother saw Jack she asked him what could he do he Jack said I could kill a thousand with one stroke. The giant's mother gave them a test next day. The test was to go to the wood for trees. The rope which she gave Jack was so heavy that he could not pull it. He gave the giant the rope and that he was in a hurry to cut the trees. When the giant landed at the wood he saw Jac jumping from tree to tree.
