  1. One night, a man was going on a journey, at about 10 o'clock he saw a white duck on the road. He gave her a kick of his boot and went on his journey. When he was coming home, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, he saw a white woman standing in the same spot as the duck was. The woman said to him, "Are you as good a man now as you were a few hours ago." 'I am' said the man.
She hit him a box, he hit her another but she was like a lump of wool. They boxed for hours. At the end she advised him to take off his coat. He was about to take off his coat when he thought it was wrong, as he had nails in his pocket. He left it on and the woman disappeared. He went home with two black eyes and he would have been killed, only for the nails.
