  1. There was a boy one time and his father died and a priest told him that he was in purgatory, and he told the boy he would get out if he got masses said for him. The boy got masses said for him. After a while he met the priest and asked him was he nearly out. The priest said he had his head and shoulders out and then the boy said "Any place my father gets his head out of the "devil himself" would not keep him back.
