To the lovely scenes around lough Ford where Leitrims waters flow. This song was composed by a man named McGowan from Auhoo. Aged fifty years.- There are a number of animals on our farm - cows, calves, pigs, a horse and an ass. The cow-house is generally built of stone and roofed with iron.
