   If you saw a horse shoe on the road, you should turn it, spit on the side that was on the road, and throw it inside the ditch for good luck. If you got a horse shoe on the road, and took it home, and nailed it to the door, and turned its points up to the roof, you'ld have good luck. If a person was taking a horse to a fair to sell him, and if a person threw an old horse shoe after him, he'ld have good luck. If you got a horse shoe on the road you should put it up on the ditch for luck. If you got half a horse shoe, or a piece of the tip of a shoe on the road you should put it in your pocket for luck.

   When your nose is itchy, there is someone talking about you.
   If your right hand is itchy, you'll get a shakehands from a friend.
   If your right hand is itchy, you'll pay money to someone.
   If your left hand is itchy, you'll get money from someone.
   If your elbow is itchy, you'll get money.
   If the sole of your left leg is itchy, tis a sign that you'll going on a long journey.
   If your left eye was itchy, there would be someone crying belonging to you.
   If your right eye was itchy, someone belonging to you would be laughing.
   If the sole of your right foot is itchy, tis a sign you'ld be walking on strange ground.
