  1. You should never tell a dream when you are fasting.
Tis bad luck to dream of broken eggs.
Tis bad luck to dream of rats.
Tis bad luck to dream of blood.
Tis bad luck to dream of horses.
To dream of police is hasty news.
If you were telling fortunes with cards, tis unlucky to let the cards drop on a white cloth.
It's an unlucky sign to turn a card when you are dealing cards.
If you dreamt that birds were flying round your house, you'ld have bad luck that day.
If you dreamt you heard a canary singing, you'ld have a comfortable home.
If you dreamt that birds were on top of your house, you'ld be going on a long journey.
If you dreamt you were up on an ass, you'ld have a desperate fight that day.
If you dreamt of a man on a black horse coming to your door, you'ld be getting a letter.
If you dreamt of a man on a brown horse you'ld hear of a funeral.
If a girl dreamt that she went to a funeral, and if she thought she was dressed in green, her marriage would be broken.
Dream of a death and you'll hear of a marriage,
Dream of a marriage and you'll hear of a death.
If a girl put wedding cake under her pillow for three nights and dream on it, she'll dream of the man she'll marry. She must put the cake in her right stocking, and tie it with her left garter.
If you dream you are walking on a grave, you'll have misfortune.
