She made up her mind that she would give a good breakfast to the priest and people. Tea was then novelty in the country. The woman did not know how to prepare it. When the tea was ready she threw out the tea and kept the tea leaves. The people were in the room at the breakfast and she gave them the tea leaves on plates Then the priest asked "Where was the soup"? "I threw it out" said the woman and the priest said "I would sooner the soup than the leaves".
