One November's night forty or fity years ago a young man was alone in his house. Before the clock struck twelve he found himself carried off by a crowd of people. It is said that if the fairies meet a stream or drain when they are on their way to bring some person away with them they could not bring any one a pass the stream. This poor man found himself standing beside a stream in the morning. This man is still living in the town land of Kilkimmon.
