    There is also a field in Ardagh
    known as the "Field of the Monks"
    of which there are several stories told
    one being that a curse was left by the
    monks when they were leaving their
    monastery.

    green field called the "Fattening Park".
    In that field there are about seven
    acres of land. It is surrounded by a
    and there are no meshes in it.
    There is no water in it and it
    is almost all flat. It is called the
    "Fattening Park" because it was a great
    filed for fattening cattle when they
    were put into it.
