There is a holy well at Lasser about two miles from Ballyfarnon. People visit it of the 15th August. There is stone there and if a person goes in and out under it three times it is said that he never will have a pain in his back.
Near Geevagh there is a holy well called St James' Well. It is visited on the 25th July each year and Stations of the Cross are made. Rags are tied on the trees that are around it.
