  1. The field that surrounds the graveyards in Tawnagh is called the "Church Field". It is said that the monks chapel was built there. There a well near-by named St. Patricks well. It is said that Saint Patrick went in for a drink to it and that is how it got its name.
    There is another field near Clyhan river and its named Clyan. There are three rocks standing up straight in it and this is supposed to be a giant's grave.
