    is situated in a hollow between to little hills and is invisible from any distance off.
    Beside the convent there is also a tree at which Mass was said. The tree which is about fifteen feet in circumference, stands by itself. The branches spread out and afford a protection from the rain and wind and shade from the sun's rays. It certainly must have been a very suitable place for the purpose.
    The is also a rock on Carrownanty hill on which Mass is supposed to have been said, but as to the truth of story I am doubtful. There are other places also which are respected as Mass is told, to have been said in them.
