  1. The following are some of the names of the local roads. There is a road going from Gurteen to Boyle and it is called the Boyle road. There is one going from the same place to Ballaghaderreen and it is called "Boheen-a-doire."Those roads were very bad ones many years ago.
    They generally get their names from the place where they lead to. There is another road leading to Mount Irwin graveyard. It was made many years ago and when it was completed it was called the "New line." Ever since it is called that name.
    There is a road going from the New line to Cuilmore bog. It was repaired by the people of this district about one year ago. Before it was repaired it was a very bad road. It was not repaired for
