  1. These are the names of the most harmful weeds. Thistles, Dockens, Redleg, Chickenweed. They are harmful because they spread quickly.
    The Dandelion is an herb which grows in good land. The Redley only grows in the bad land.
    The Docken is a cure for the sting of a nettle. It is rubbed on quickly. It is also a cure for measles. They are boiled and the juice is drunk.
    Nettles are boiled and mixed with Indian meal and they are given to young turkeys. Some people use them as a green vegetable.
