- A few miles to the west of Ballyheigue there is a churchyard called Keel. This is the burying place for the Corridon family. In a certain part of it there is a round stone, and if anybody takes it from the graveyard, it is replaced the following day by unseen hands.
There was a man going to America and he took the stone with him, but on the voyage a great storm arose and the ship sank, and the stone was back in the churchyard the following day. A man from the village of Ballyheigue took the stone from the churchyard, but it was replaced later.(continues on next page)- Collector
