    the little lake and the ridge over the big lake. If the lakes did exist they have long since disappeared as not even a trace of them can now be discerned. Parts of each of those townlands are lowlying and less than one hundred years ago turf was cut in these townlands. In that place probably the lakes had existed.

    The townland of Corlea is locally sometimes referred to "Ballinevar"(?). This seems to be Baile an Bhothair and in this townland many of its house are built along the public road.
