    An Corruigh Mór because it's a wet marshy field.
    Biddy Boy was a woman lived there for some time and she bled to death in the house.
    Valden's an old man and when he was dying he had only the one roof over his head.
    The Mullagh is a very high hill in Tonaneave. It got its ancient name Mullagh because it is the highest hill in Tonaneave.
    Sylvester's Garden is in Tonaneave. It is called this name because Sylvester owned it. His old house is at the top of it.
    Páirc a Liosa is the Field of the Fort because there is a fort in the side of it.
    Tullylougherney is called the townland of the rushes because it is nearly all rushes and bog.
