    memorial to his memory. There is another V.C. Private Duffy who lives outside Castleblayney. My Uncle Sergeant Major Robert Mc Bride won the Distinguished Conduct Medal, Military Medal, Midalle Militaire, Croix De Guerre and Legion of Honour. The Military Medal for bravery in the feild was won by Edward Jackson tailor Monaghan. George Nesbitt, Dunraymond Thomas Sommerville, Carrickatee and my father William McBride, Sunbeam Villa, Ballybay. I have heard the above from my father of the (snow) same address.
