    II
I thought I was in the old home,
    Among the neighbours all,
And at the concert as of old in Father
    Martin's hall,
Where songs were sung in the gaelic
    tongue
By the youngsters ore, and ore.
My heart was filled with rapture
    And I said once more,
    Chorus.
    III.
I thought I was on the old fort,
    And walking around the ring.
When scores of Hibs(?) came marching
And shook me by the hand,
Saying how our exiled friends out there
    The boys from Ballytrain,
Oh that they were here to-night
    To sing the old refrain.
    Chorus.
