After this fight the land from Comber to Drum was given by Coote to the soldiers who served under him. The farms were small but the people lived comfortably on them. They were all yeomen in later times and got 1/ a day. In the village of Drum the descendants of the Cooter planters still hold the land. There is no Catholic in the village

The yeomen paraded at Captain Neville's house once a year where they were paid their little pensions
