- The greatest poet round here was poet McKenna. He lived above Newbliss. it was said that he could make a song while walking, sitting or at anything else.
Rhymer McGurk was so called because he used to make rhymes. Patrick Fitzpatrick was a great maker of songs. He made songs at a dance at Greenan's Cross. Everyone that was at the dance was put into the song(continues on next page)- Collector
