Through Shercock and Cootehill
The voice I'll raise and sound the praise
Of the boys round Carn Hill
Wherever I go with grief and woe
I cast a look of pride
On the houses of my ancestors
Where my parents lived and died.
May the angels guard their old churchyard
And its hallowed graves they fill
For them I'll pray both night and day
