oys used to get three shillings a day for the work. They made it in two months.
Long ago cross-roads were made very big because people used to dance at them every Sunday evening after dinner.
Up near Rockcorry there is a road and there is a round monument till the south of it. It is used as a lane now. It is too small for traffic to go on now. The monument is like a bog round high pear. Ther is the shape of guns cut on it in the sides.
