    of an Church and a well in the middle of it. There is a cure in the well and people visit it at certain parts of the year, and take the water out of the well to cure sores and warts and things like that. It is said that in the Penal day a priest was saying mass there and the soldiers rushed in and killed him on the alter. When he fell the spring came up at his feet and formed the well it is about half a mile from Crettyard up the Gurteen road
