   If the ding of a bell is sound it is a sign of frost.
   The noise of cars when sound is a sign of rain,
   When the crows hover in the air they foretell a storm
   On a Winters evening when the sun sets red, it is a sign of frost, and when red on Summers evening foretells a warm day
   A falling star foretells rain.
   When nuts are scarce it is a sign of a soft Winter.
   If smoke from a chimney is low, it is a sign of wet weather, when going straight it is a sign of fine weather.
   Falling soot in fine weather foretells wet
