The Care of the Feet.
In former times people began to wear boots about the age of twenty-five.Children at present go barefooted from about the month of May to the month of September.
There is an old habit not to throw out the water in which the feet are washed but to wash the floor with it first. It is thought to be unlucky of this is not done.- Collector
