There lived in the parish of Firies long ago a man named Flynn. This man was very fond of night walking. He used go to the road every night and used to stay out late sometimes. One night he was returning home and he was crossing a certain place in a field he was beaten, knocked, and thrown on the ground and he could not see anybody. The same thing happened night after night.
