- There was a certain room in Cullina House well known to be haunted in days gone by. A Priest made an attempt to sleep in this room and he began to read his book but the candle was struck out of his hand and he had to leave. The headless Coach was heard numbers of times coming up the Avenue to the Hall door. The caretaker used to get up and go to the door to find there was nothing there. The house was then in the occupation of Mr. Donough Mahony.
