    and the first swing he gave he broke the scythe, so Tom gave him another scythe and he broke it. He gave him the third one and he broke it also. Then Tom told him to come in to the house and that he would teach him how to say his prayers when he could not teach him anything else. Then they went in and Tom began teaching him his prayers and after a while some visitors came in to the house and old Tom said to the young fellow "now let them see how you can pray." So the fellow started praying and this is what he said. "In the name of the Father and of the Son and what is the other chap's name."
