   The following verses are not in order.

   How oft I travelled out that way
   To view the hills and valleys gay
   And win a smile from those bright eyes
   That sparkled like the starry skies

   And as the artist passes through
   And views this lovely place
   He'll see its priceless charms
   And its lovely features trace

   Farewell oh lonely village
   With you none can compare
   I travelled many places
   And can't find one as fair.

   Dunkitt & Kilmacow were great milling districts at one time. In Dunkitt were Chanelly's Mill, Gauls Mills, Pat Duggan's Mill, Parker's MIll, Sarudder's Mill; Brown's Mill; Mackey's Mill Freeman's Mill; Kelly's Mill; Loughoy's Mill Some of these are still working but only to grind Indian corn & oats to put through the same. Several are now derelict Farmer's wheat & corn were ground Also oaten-meal. Special drying
