- There was a treasure supposed to have been buried at Granagh Ferry about two miles from school by road An old beggar-woman who travelled around with her children always maintained it was hidden there by her Uncles Henry & Martin. This old woman was called "Kitty Malachy" She was lodging at a farmers house(continues on next page)
