    times in their house both in her mother's day and her own. She told me that Father Coghlan the present parish priest of Roslercon was often brought out to their house to say Mass in it or prayers, when the pláibín appeared.
    Again she admitted that she believed the evil spirits were responsible for the pláibín. It had the appearance of being thrown against the cow-post or dairy door with great force and she often came on it with the fresh milk streaming down the post or door to the ground.
    The O'Farrells of Ballafoyle met with more trouble than anyone else. In years they lost all ther butter and finally "They left the calves with the cows and the cows milked blood."
