The work brick is pronounced - breek. Thus the people always speak of the Breek-Ma(r)sh. - Close to the house and castle at Annaghs is of course, a garden. This garden was made about the same time as the house.
The masons and workmen on having completed the building of the house turned their attention to the garden wall to enclose the garden.
