    Matt's is a field that is beside Clodiagh Chapel.

    Matt's is a field that is beside Clodiagh Chapel. In this field there was a house beside an old tree growing in the middle of the field. There lived a man named Matt Murphy in this old house. Around this tree there are two big stones which are still to be seen.
    In the district of the Rower, The name of a field is called The Raw Bán because the fairies were seen dancing in it long ago. A man was going home one night across the field and he saw them dancing in the middle of it. No one would cut down a tree in this field. There is also a field on my uncles farm called the kiln field. The reason this was called the kiln field is because lime was burned in a kiln beside it.
    There is also a field called Bab's field in Russelstown. The reason this field was called Babs because an old woman lived in a house in it. The name of the woman was Babs Grace. She made her living by spinning. There is an old tree growing over on the Oldcourt road. It's called the Monument tree.
