   Sheep's milk is a cure for measles or sheep's saffron to boil it in milk and drink the milk.
   Another cure for rheumatism is Gilltig, a little green tree that grows in certain places. They boil it in milk and drink it.
   A cure for warts is to rub fat meat on it, and hide it. According as the meat withers away the warts wither.
   To cure chilblains rub damp salt on them or steep it in salt-water.
   A cure for whooping-cough is to go in and out there times under an ass'es legs.

   Here are some of the ailments, people had in former times and that people had have now. Corns, whooping cough, the measles, colds, headaches, stomachaches, toothaches, scurvey, boils, sore eyes, pimples, ringworm, pains, chilblains, windpains, sore thrat, kidney complaint, pneumonia, tonsils, influenza, fevour, goither in the neck. The best cure for corns is soap and sugar. You should cut the corn and plaster the corn with soap and sugar. Honey is good for the whooping cough. A real old cure for measles is sheep's saffron. You should steep it in milk and get the soup from it and
