- (1) Valentine De Butler Coghlan of Inistioge was a poet. His poems are published in local papers. He wrote poems and stories in the "Our Boys". He also wrote a poem the "Sweet Silvery Nore".(2) Fr. Dollard of Mooncoin wrote a poem "The valley of the Nore" which is in connection with this locality.(3) Mr Doolan the Mall, Thomastown is a local poet. He wrote a poem about Sally Bog a few weeks ago. He publishes a new poem in the "Kilkenny People" every week.(4) Kate O'Leary R.I.P., Graiguenamanagh(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
