    for approaching soldiers. A large stone that served as an alter, was to be seen for many years in one corner of the field. It was taken away,but it was not known by whom.From the monastery that was then in Reary, the monks stole up by the river to this place to pray. It was called the "Green Parlour", on account of the grass remaining always green,and Parlour because it is such a small enclosed place.
