- During the time of the trouble 1916 we are told of a man who hid a saucepan of gold. He hid the gold in a bog between Larkfield and Sliab Bán just where the moon was shining. His name was Donal Connors.
Years afterwards when he went to look for it he could not find it, owing to the fact that no matter where he looked the moon was shining there. Lights are often seen haunting the place, but no one has ever atempted to unearth it.- Collector
