- A man by the name of Tom Kenny who lived Roxboro was coming home from rambling one night. At Derrane crossroads he saw a girl all in white. He thought it was a girl he knew and he tried to catch her and she jumped into a field near by. When he was coming up the road she appeared again to him, and started running round him. He thought she was up to him him. He had two very good dogs at home and he whistled for them and they came to him and started running(continues on next page)
