  2. The birds most common to our district are the crow, jack-daw, magpie, pidgeon, robin, blackbird, thrush, curlew, pheasant, wren, starling, green linnet, wild duck, swan, lark sparrow, goldfinch and swallow.
    The swallow and the widgeese migrate.
