- the names of the animals on the farm are cows, calves, sheep, lambs, horses and an ass. The names of our cows are the blue and the grey. When I am driving the cows I say "go on" and "hurry up". I say the same to the calves.
Our cow house is galvanised. There are two parts in our cowhouse. The cows are tied with a chain around the neck. I don't know where the chains were made. There is no branch or emblem hung in the cowhouse at anytime.
The horses fodder is hay. the horses stable is galvanised. The blacksmith puts the shoes on the horses. We clip the hair off the horses in the Summer.
When we are calling the hens we call "chuck, chuck". there are dates put on the hatching eggs so that they will be known from other eggs that might be layed among them.- Collector
